# Our Plan to Deliver for Victorians

> The Liberal and Nationals plan for the 2026 Victorian state election (Saturday 28 November 2026), led by Jess Wilson MP (Leader of the Opposition, Victorian Liberal Leader, Shadow Treasurer, Member for Kew) and Danny O’Brien MP (Leader of The Nationals). Three goals: reduce crime, lower costs, government that works.

Key commitments:
- 3,000 more police (fill existing vacancies, fund 1,500 more officers); reopen more than 40 police stations
- Return PSOs to all 119 stations where PSOs have been removed, with 200 more recruited
- Break Bail, Face Jail (one-strike rule for 25 serious offences); Adult Crime, Adult Time
- Introduce Right to Ask, Right to Know laws, based on Clare’s Law
- Guarantee of no new or increased taxes
- Scrap the Emergency Services Tax, the Schools Tax and the GP Tax
- No stamp duty for first home buyers on homes up to $1 million
- Restore the $300,000 land tax-free threshold (saving 280,000 Victorians up to $975 a year)
- $5 billion to rebuild, repair and resurface roads; eliminate one million potholes
- Cap road tolls at $50 a week for two years from 1 July 2027; 10 proper Technical Colleges
- Return the budget to a cash surplus by 2032 (ten year economic plan)
- An enhanced Royal Commission into CFMEU misconduct; Charter of Budget Honesty; Public Spending Tracker
- 25% Fair Share Guarantee: at least 25% of infrastructure spending for regional Victoria
- Faster ambulance responses, 25,000 extra elective surgeries a year, new and upgraded hospitals in the city and the regions
- Literacy and Numeracy Guarantee with a long term goal of 90% NAPLAN proficiency
